Headlight Replacement
After reading through tech articles...I don't need forearms that look like popeye. I have foggy/hazy headlight on my "new" stang.
I have decided to replace them, but the options are incredible. Besides just swapping in new oem lights, has anyone had good/bad with aftermarket lights?
The ones I'm considering are these

i wouldnt get anything from ebay. good replacement headlights are hard to find because they will either get moisture in them (so you will have to seal them yourself) or they can get hairline cracks on the inside of them that will look crappy. ive heard of people getting them from american muscle and not having any problems, but i cant tell you from personal experience.
those lights you found on ebay dont look bad though, never saw them before

I've actually bought new headlights from ebay and haven't had a problem with them. The only gripe I have is that the ones that I bought were made of very flimsy plastic. You would have to be very careful when installing because you can break/crack them easily. I've driven my car on plenty of gravel roads and they haven't cracked after installed though.

I bought a pair of headlights off ebay from BlueOvelIndustries, been on the car 3-3 1/2 years with no problems. If you want to spend alittle bit more you can get glass ones off Amizon that dont fade. Go to Amazon and search for SN95 headlights and you should be able to find them.

Thanks for the input, I went to amazon and looked and didn't find anything that "popped" for me.
I have installed aftermarket lights on previous vehicles and can seal them and drill drain holes...that's not much of a concern.
I am also concerned with the rigidity of the plastic housings, I guess I will be the test dummy for these. They seem to look the best on a black car, without lookin ricey...

You will need to run clear RTV around the seam (between the clear lens and body) on most aftermarket headlights as they are not sealed very well.
