If you removed your EGR you need a tune to fix the issue.

Justin at VMP tuning can burn you a chip.

btw, LT's are NOT legal in Caifornia.
I am surprised that you found a mechanic that would work on your car or maybe thats why they are not helping you.

Yeah but I betcha if you ever get pulled over and the cops ask you who did your exhuast, the guy who put it on will deny it. Maybe a long shot but check to make sure the fuel pump is good to go.

Yup, the shop wont want a huge fine so they will deny any work that may have been done.

I am just trying to let you know what kind of can of worms your working with when you use non CARB legal parts in Cali.

It depends on what tuner your using, a Sniper tuner can do it for you, otherwise you will have to send off for a custom tune.

If you have a SCT tuner then you can contact Justin at VMP for a custom tune.

Where is cali are you? When was the last time you got smogged? And most important to me anyway is DID YOU PASS? If so I HAVE to know where you went so he can pass my car too! Id love to see the tech's face when he tells you you fail because 1. LT's are not CARB legal, and 2. You have no cats, and 3. You have no EGR. If you deleted the EGR you need to have a tuner to tell the computer to ignore the lack of EGR signal.

I'm in the sanfernando valley. And yeah I know I'm not going emmision but I'm going to get one on the low. So I should buy a tuner with a custom tune. Or when I buy a sct tunner would it be cool, don't know much about tunners or how they work everybody I know get dyno tuned, but I've seen that you can store 3 tunes with an SCT.

I was also told that when I put my BBK cold air intake I wasn't going to pass the smog check is that true, not that I'm worried about ir now.
