97 base mustang tailights

Default 97 base mustang tailights

i have a 97 base mustang its black and has chrome rims, whould these taillights look good or no ive had some people tell me yeah and others tell me no they look like something a riceburner would have. so please help me http://www.slickcar.com/details/5381...ail-lights.asp

Only taillights that look good on Mustangs are options from Ford.
If you really want to upgrade, find a set of EXPORT taillights (have yellow turn signals instead of red). Be ready to pay a lot, and search hard. I've been looking for a year and haven't found a set I'd buy.

agree with above, Ford offered the only good looking taillights standard, and as an option. your really not going to find anything aftermarket that looks right on the car. my suggestion is to go to a junkyard, and find a stock set and play around with tinting the junk set. find a shade that works for you and go with it. also, remember, some things were meant to be left OEM

they would really seem out of place considering the car and how much the lights have going on.
