Default Remote Start help

Hey guys. Been a while since I've been on here. So anyways, going to school to be an auto technician. We are in electrical class and we can do projects on our cars and have them count as a lab grade. I've always wanted to put a remote start on my car and asked the instructor if it was cool and he said sure. So, I ordered a Python 1400XP remote start setup for my 02 stang.

Question I have is do I need to purchase a bypass module for this setup? I have read some that say yes and others that say no. Has factory anti-theft system in it. I bought this setup just for the remote start nothing more. Plan to use regular fob for locks and trunk.

Remote start system will be here Monday and plan to install on Tuesday. Any help on this issues along with anything else I may need to keep on the look out for would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
