Well is there a way to get the heads out without taking out the whole engine? I might be able to manage that over christmas break but I can't take the whole engine out

Pulling them? The engine doesn't have to come out of the car to swap the heads.

From reading your posts (specifically the one about reusing head bolts), let me give you some advice.

Don't attempt to pull the heads and port them yourself. You sound like you'll **** up more than improve. Not trying to be a dick, but it's not something that it sounds like you can handle. Which is perfectly OK, most 16 year old kids can't.

But seriously, don't try it. I've had to bail out too many of my dumbass buddies that started a job that they thought was easy and then couldn't finish. Don't be like them.

Haha yea thanks for the warning, I wasn't about to take my engine apart without being 100% about putting it back together right. I went out last night and looked at what all it would take to pull the heads and I have little to no doubt that I'd end up screwing something up before I had it all back together. Thanks for the help from all u guys though
