Gauge Cluster Problems...
So a while ago, my Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge stopped working. About 4 years ago, when I would turn the car on, it would go up and sporadically while driving it would dive down to 0, then return, then dead ago. 1 year later, dead period...
About 6 months ago, my fuel gauge started acting wacky, sometimes shooting through the roof, sometimes staying on E... If I give the cluster a little love-tap, the fuel returns to normal but the Engine Coolant Temp gauge is dead. Luckily I was smart enough to track my mileage with the trip sensor (the LOW FUEL light still lights when it's really low, but I don't like to drive my car to that point.
My question is, is my gauge cluster shot? I've seen them on ebay for roughly $75, do I got for it?

I was thinking about this recently. For people who do a lot of modw. We'll say everything just short of engine swap and supercharger on a v6. I'm assuming that this would increase the top speed of the car to well over 120mph. Do there individuals buy the GT clusters? How does this work at this point? Would they be automatically calibrated to show the correct speeds and rpms?
I'm thinking of swapping the entire cluster so im wondering if i need to stick with the 120 Max v6 or if I can go with the higher top speed gauges from the GT? And whether or not it will simply be plug and play.
