I was one of those guys that swore he's always keep 'that one car' - ask anyone on this forum. And I sold it last month in favor of a car that suited my life's needs better. If you added up all the money I spend on the sixer over the past decade, I only got 5% back out of it when it drove away.

I agree with the people that say you'll end up wanting a different car if speed is what your after, I already own a 67 t-bird and 6 Rx-7's so I'm covered in that department, my stang was left to my by my grandfather who had all kinds of plans for it even though I was a six cyl, so I'm building mine in his memory, if I ever decide that an 8 cyl is what I want I'll spend the money to do a motor swap, by then I'll have the suspension and interior perfect, plus the motor might have enough done to get some money back on it by selling it.

Why you ask.....

Simple

You will not keep this car forever. Odds are you'll be like most people. You'll have the car till you're 18-21/22 at which point, if you don't get in an accident, you'll sell/trade in the car for something more modern, powerful, whatever.

.
I would have to agree with jermey here, I thought the same thing, now however Im in to position to have another one as a fun car but Im not going to go to crazy with mods because I know my ultimate goal is a 03/04 cobra, however, I do feel that a nice sounding exhaust with an intake and tune and maybe a set of gears will give some nice tasteful and cheap improvements to the car

however JT It would be nice to see you in a way "restore" the 95 with a nice mild 306 or something that and make her a weekend car

The 95, the engine anyways, is completely rebuilt/restored with all 94/95 SVO/SVT components down to the ECU (which I needed for the fuel injectors). I thought about the 306 kit but the cost to amout gain was extremely lop sided. I still need to fix some shorts in the doors and fix a nasty timing chain cover leak, and figure out what sensor is faulty causing an oddball "loope" at idel. Either that or the darn thing has a vacuum leak that again I can't find. Since I'm making around $6000 a month now I've been debating about just saying screw it and bringing it to a shop and letting them figure it out. I have very little time off now and most of the time I'm just too tired to go out there and turn wrenches all day.

But as you can tell this is before and after:

What was replaced
New 302 out of a 94 Mustang with 71K (old motor was completely blown)
Remilled Heads
Stud bolt swap
New high performance gaskets
Removed/sold the Kenne Bell
New racing clutch and flywheel assembly (old one was burned)
New wiring harness
New ECU
Some new sensors
New Seats out of an 03 Mustang GT
Some new inteior components (old ones were dryrotting)
New Amp
New speaker wires
New door harnesses
New gauge cluster
New front bumper
***New side skirts (still need to be installed)
***New rear bumper (needs to be installed)
***Front bumper ground effects kit (needs to be installed)

New block after I tore it down before the rebuild

After a little work

Final result

Should I keep it this will be a rough final result, just insert the front ground effects, and saleen side skirts and rear bumper:

Actually it needs more than a buff, it needs a paint job, still has the original pain on the car from when it rolled off the assembly line in October of 1994. Tinted windows are a deffinite if I keep it.

nicee. looks good man. and like someone else said, i also might keep it, get the interior/exterior done how i want and everything set up and drop a v8 or something in it. sell the mods i get separately. idk yet though. im still in the "i wanna do all these things to the car" mode while being in the "i have no money to do anything" state. so who knows. anything i do to it ill def keep updated on here hah. one of the few places i can show my car and have it appreciated lol. kids now a days sayin ohhh its 12 years old.. psh its crap. lol. they dont even know.

also what do you guys think about doin this, i know it looks good on older stangs and muscle cars but what about bigger wheels in the back (like an inch) compared to the front? would that look good on this style stang? or thicker treaded tires. just brainstorming as i need new tires soon.

Looks decent if not to much bigger BUT, big but here, the traction control will flip out cause it senses the front spinning faster and thinks it has lost control and you won't be able to move because the traction control will kick in full blast, you need a tuner to turn off the traction control before you do that.
