theft light keep blinking

theft light keep blinking

I just bought a 2000 Mustang V6, and I was wondering if it's normal that the theft light keep blinking when the car is not running?

Yes, it blinks when the car is turned off, and should stay lit when you start up the car. When you have the car running, it shouldn't be lit or blinking.
