will a Gasket maker namely blue rtv silicone gasket maker be alright to make the gasket between the mass air meter and the tube you screw onto it

im pretty much asking will the gasket maker ruin my mass air sensor or will it not affect it

shouldn't affect, it, but make sure you don't have any leaks. Be sure to talk to a mechanic to be 100% sure.

Most RTV's are sensor safe now. But why not just get some gasket material from your local auto parts store for a buck and change, and make one?
