Default theft light

ok, I just got my car running after a bunch of problems. I heard about a bunch of theft light concerns with the way my car is behaving. Now I actually have the theft light problems!

here are my questions
how can I disable the theft system completely for cheap/free?
how do I reset my theft system... maybe I opened the door wrong this morning when I was getting into it and I just need to reset the system or something...

I can provide video/pictures anthing you guys need to help me out

thanks a lot,

-JOE

If the light is just blinking then it's fine, it always does that.

when the theft light is blinking the car turns on and then off straight away. it turns over and then starts and dies.

Do you only have one key for this car? If not try other key.

does anyone know how to diagnose what is wrong... is it the key?, or is it the actual theft system, or maybe the key sensor? or the fuse? how do I know what part is malfunctioning?
