Default Quick interior question

Hey i wanted to replace the shift **** and ebrake handle and boot and i don't really know how to get them off. I took out the whole center console and still couldn't figure it out. (usually with the ebrake handle there is a screw on the bottom of the handle, but i didn't see any)...

The shift **** and ebrake handle should just unscrew off, shif should screw off only on standards. Not 100% sure, but I believe these two are just screw ons.

Sorry dude, looks like your stuck with your stock shift. You may be able to find a custom shifter specifically made for automatic mustans, but not sure where, check out our venders and see what they offer. You should still be able to change out your ebrake. The reason you just can't put on any aftermarket shifter is because of the wireing of the overdrive. It is positioned on the bottom of the shift making aftermarkets impossible to install because you will not be able to hook up your overdrive button.

Well as for the shifter, there are shift ***** specifically for mustang autos, or i could always put my over drive button somewhere else. so thats not a problem.

Well go with whatever works. Make sure that if you change your overdrive buttons location you put it in easily accessable place and make sure your connections are good.
