I have an 04 3.9 that has by far been the best and most problem free car i have ever owned. It has 91k miles on it and have never had it in a shop but now i have an issue.

I am getting a very annoying squeal / howling noise from under the hood. I thought it was a tranny noise and a few days ago i got a check engine light. Hooked up my scanner and got a code, wife threw my paper away and i dont remember what it was. I do remember it said something about intake runner solenoid or something to that effect.

Does anyone have any idea what this is , where it is, and how do i fix it. I could maybe live with the noise but its KILLING fuel mileage and it seem to have no low end power now.

We finally paid off the wifes car and i have been given a green light to do what i want with my car so i went to get this handled and then its time to do what i want with my car....lots of plans in the works.
