Hello, I have a 1997 mustang 3.8l and it does not seem to be shifting correctly. When I take off from a stop, it seems to start off in second gear. Also, if I manually shift it down to first, it has no power and when I let off the gas it feels like the brakes are on. Any Ideas?

Bring it to a shop. That is not an issue you will be able to fix at home. It could be simple, or it could be major.
