Has anyone ever used these it says you get gains of 45 horsepower and 8 mpg. Has anyone used these? if so what were the results?

I've seen various chips that seem to be cheaper than a tuner, not wanting to drop a few hundred on a tuner right now but figured if I can get a couple extra mpg for 30$ it would be worth it. Any other chips that would work better?

Those style "chips" are crap, the only chip worth buying is made by SCT

 

yeah agreed, just save up for the tuner instead of chipping. or get K&N Air filter for a few more mpgs.

 

Yeah, a drop in filter, NOT the expensive air intake. And that style "chip" is just a resistor in a fancy case. It just confuses the car into running more rich or lean. Cause most people with no understanding of a car think more fuel more power, less fuel better mileage. It's isn't that simple.
