Question Window Leak

Hey guys,

I got an 04 Mustang V6. It just started raining where I live and a few days ago i started noticing a fairly steady stream of water leaking into the cabin near the drivers side door hinge. When I first noticed a leak the carpet at the drivers seat and behind both seats were soaked, I must have vacuumed out half a gallon of water. What's weird is that I sat in my car today while it was raining pretty hard and the only leak I could find was at the drivers side door hinge. I don't think it is the black door seal because there were no leaks at the window or the back of the door. Anyone got any ideas of what it could be?

Adjust the door striker so the door closes a little tighter. It doesn't have to go in but a little to seal it.

Thanks for the idea Mike. I think i fixed the problem though. I had a screw missing on the drivers side under the windshield vent (not sure if thats what its called) that made it easy for water to go through it, into the doorjam and then run down a wire that the previous owner had running from the battery through the door hinge to the trunk. I put a screw in the hole and took the cord out and i havent had a leak since. just for anyone's future reference. If I notice another leak soon though I'm gonna adjust the door striker
