95 heads on a 99 block

Default 95 heads on a 99 block

Bought a sn95 convertible it has low oil pressure when hot pick up a 99 short block can i use the 95 heads and intake on the 99 block if i use the 99 head bolts and gaskets or are there any other things i will need to switch over.

Why not just swap to the split-port intakes while you're in there? And if you can find one use a Windstar GL upper.

Thats a possiblity doing the split port but really need to know if the 95 heads will work on the 99 block. I thought you have to change alot of stuff for the split port also. Just really need to get the bottom end out before its junk.

The split port is easy provided you have the modified fuel rail. It only took my brother and i a few hours to do. What made it more difficult was the fact that I did the Windstar swap at the same time. So I had to re locate the IAC and a bunch of vac lines.

94-04 blocks are identical. It's the top end and external front that changes.

So by the external i can just switch over all the stuff off the 95 right. Thanks

I keep seeing posts that mention the windstar upper intake... why is this different from the mustang intake and is there any benifit to the swap? for that matter what about the f150 intake?
