By the way, my duals never sound ricey even at higher RPM. I still have my cats and no H or X pipe.

Yrp that was my trick. no v8 rumle but a nice deep exhaust note

Mine sounds like a V8 at lower rpm's, but above 3500 you can tell it's not a V8. I like to think it's a finely tuned V8...like formula 1.
