Default Avoiding sounding ricey...

When I get my true duals with 40 series flows I want absolutley no hint of rice sound at all, I want it to sound like nothing but muscle car rumble. Has anyone ever experienced that rice sound from adding true duals with 40 series flows? Thanks.

Also, I drive a 99' stock 5spd stang.

Check out my sound clip in the Sound Clip Gallery. If mine sounded ricey, I'd burn it!

Try this link. HRnB set it up. It's rolling from 50 to about 75.

Edit..
Works in WMP2 Windows Media Player

You won't get a ricey sound at all. At really high rpm's it will get high pitched, but not really ricey still.

if you have a v6...you will NEVER get the muscle rumble out of it....you can get a nice idle and up to about 3000rpms it will sound NICE.....but after that, no matter what you do...it will get "ricier" Personall i have a 95 rebuilt engine, cam, heads, supercharger, headers, full exhaust and at about 3500rpms gets raspy/ricey.

Q: he wants a V8 rumble coming from his six, what to do?
A: he will never get the v8 rumble, impossible. I probably have the most modded v6 on this forum and it DOES sound like a v8, and many many people have told me...but at high rpms you can just tell its a v6. But I did HEAVY HEAVY mods....basic boltons will never give you a v8 rumble.

6er will always have hints of "rice" it has to do with the harmonics and overtones and a bunch of other physics stuff. The only way to remove the sound is to add two cylinders.
Embrace the sound of a V6. Love the sound. It's what let's everyone know what's coming
