I've noticed the 4.6 and the Cobras have double exhaust. Or is it dual exhaust? Any ways they have two mufflers, one on each side. Can I get that done to my mustang? Will it make it sound ricey? I know I can't ever get the rumble of V8, because let's face, I don't have a V8. Will it increase performance? Is it expensive? Thanks in advance.

Yes you can. It's called DUAL EXHAUST. That was the first mod I did. Look at the sticky at the top of the main V6 forum page for exhaust. If you want to hear it, look in that same section for the sound gallery. I have mine posted there so you can hear it.
Mine costed me $600.00. It is a TRUE dual setup, with a custom X-Pipe and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. And it won't give you a whole lot of HP, but throttle response is SO much better. Look at my mods in my signature. You will see I ahve pretty much put on all the bolt-ons short of Nitrous....And it still doesn't amount to 200RWHP. 188RWHP dynoed actually. So don't expect a lot unless you want to spend a lot of money.

it seems so many people are worried about getting a ricey sound. How many people do you know on the road that have totall respect for the muscle car and the riceburner at the same time? lmao just be glad that you stand inbetween the v4 and v8 world.
