Default Sequential Tail Lights

I need some help!! I have a 2004 Cobra Convertible. Bought the sequential tail light harnesses from American Muscle along with LED light bulbs. Harnesses work fine with regular bulbs. But when I put LED's in, everything works except the outside lights of the turn signals on both sides. In other words, 2 of the 3 bulbs work when using the turn signals. Does anyone have any experience with these? Thanks

The harness is prolly wired for regular bulbs. LED require less wattage. Makes the car think it has a blown bulb and act according. You need load ballast when using led bulbs in a halogen socket.

This sounds odd. I would agree that it just sounds like you're running the incorrect harness and it's not strong enough to power the LED's. Give our CS team a call and we'll see what we can do for you!

Thanks Dan. Talked with customer service again. Tried several recommendations from them when I received the first harnesses. After all failed, I pulled them out, sent them back and received a new set. Same problem with new set. Now American Muscle is sending new resistors and a new Raxiom flasher to see if that is the problem. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

You need load ballasts to run LED's!!!!! There's nothing wrong with the harness. Its the led bulbs. You said yourself it works fine with the regular bulbs. That's what its designed for.
