You do not want to introduce any amount of water or any liquid into the cylinders. That is the stupidest advice I've ever seen. Water is not compressable and will most likely bend a valve or connecting rod.

thats a pretty ignorant reply

apparently you didnt read the details, i specified a small vac line, think egr mini line not a 3/4" hose, it takes quite a bit of water to hydrolock an engine, but what do i know im just a new member here

ingesting small amounts of water/seafoam will not hurt anything and dates back to water/meth injection on WW-II planes its nothing new been going on for 80 years

if it makes you feel any better go read up on water injection

ok today I was driving around and blew a small heater hose, bypass hose and overheated the engine some, no damage done, I caught it early, but now there is no pinging. I'm thinking if it was a sensor then this wouldn't happen, it comes and goes, got me beat !!
