Default Fuel Pump for 98 3.8L model. Not sure which type?

I need to replace the fuel pump for my Mustang. I have looked online at parts suppliers at YouTube videos and there seems to be a confusion as to what kind of fuel pump is in the car. I see two totally different looking types of pump that claim to be for a 1998 3.8 base model w/o California emissions. One looks like a electric motor attached to some metal frame and another looks like a plastic tub that sits in the tank. Even the parts sellers show both types under the year make model submodel without explaining which is which. I need to order the pump before I take it out since the car is running (just hard to start) and I need it to drive to work until a weekend when I can replace it. Can anyone tell me what the differences are in these two types and how to tell which one that I have?

Thanks,
Mike
