04 mustang 3.9 conv
need help. Just got this mustang. Several weird things going on.
1. Battery drains after 24 hrs
2. Dashes on odometer display when car is OFF
3. When headlights are on. Reverse lights come on
4. When car is in reverse. All of the parking lights. Front and back come on

Also the rear defrost button turns on the parking lights too

You have some electrical shorts somewhere. Check the fuse boxes in the engine bay and inside the car.
With an older convertible it's possible it had a leak or leaks or the owner left the top down during rain on one or more occasions.
