Bought a 2002 V6 Mustang... CES Issue
#12
I had already gotten a 180° one. I boiled some water, and put the original t-stat in it, and
it did not open. Looks like it's a little crooked, and when pushing it with my thumbs
there is a spot it binds up at.
I tried to put the new one in, but I could not get it to stay in place on the housing, it
falls off before I can even but the bolts in. I am going to have to get some RTV to
hold it in place... I eventually lost daylight, and it got too damn cold to keep after
it. Will try again tomorrow, well, later today, it is after midnight...

PUT the bolts in... I keep seeing the typos after I post, and I can't go back and edit
it.
Some videos I saw show an o-ring, and a direction the t-stat goes in, and the one on it
did not have an o-ring, and there is no direction indicator, or any notches like there was
on the videos I saw.
