Ok, the car started running real bad and fan not coming on,was informed here that it sounded like a bad ect sensor,so I tested the power at the connector and am getting 4.7,which seems ok? Installed a new ect sensor and no help,same issues. So I exchanged it for another new one and installed it,now the engine still runs bad and fan will not come on until I disconnected the connector to the ect! Once disconnected,the fan comes right on,connect it and the fan turns right off? I'm stumped ! I've gone over all vac. Lines and see no issues. I don't know what to check next ? Any ideas ?
