Default Fuel dilivery Problem

So my mustang was running great until one day is stopped working so I replaced the fuel pump and then there was no fuel dilivery on the rails no more and then I put the key in the on position so I could hear the humming noise from the pump however there was none and now I am in a dead end I don't know what to and my mustang has 24k miles on the clock.

Does working on the pump trigger the inertia switch? If so just flip it back on.

The problem is that the pump is not working at all and I reseted the inertia switch multiple times.

Well hopefully you checked the battery.... but other than that you could've simply gotten a bad fuel pump. There could, however, either be a problem with the wiring that hooks up to the fuel pump assembly or with a wire inside the assembly. If you only replaced the pump and put it in the old assembly, the wiring in the assembly could've gone bad. If you replaced the entire assembly, it could be the outside wire as I said before.

Did you check fuses and make sure the old pump was getting power?
