Default Fuel Problem, Fuel Pump Maybe?

Fuel pump may have went bad in my buds 5.0... heres what he said:
i drove it to a local gas station ran fine shut it off to put air in my tires and fired it back up and headed home... as soon as i got out on the highway i noticed it was losin power sputtering a lil then it got worse and wosre until i had to pull off and shut it down.. i thought no gas.. i put 4 gallons in it fired it back up sputter for like 3 secs and then stalled i turned the pump on and off
flooded the egngine almost to make it start and still nothing

what all could this be resonably? filter or pump maybe sending unit.. pulling the filter off tommarow to see if its pluged, and hes gonna prime the key and see if anything comes out of the fuel line, could be a fuse or relay as well.. what else could this be and whats a good way to check all of this.. thanks guys

When my pump went bad the car stuttered alot and bucked back and forth. My pump would always be fine when cold but after warming up the car would start acting up.

sure its the fuel pump if it starts acting up when warmed up its usually electrical, try checking into the tfi module, when it goes bad the car will run fine untill warm, then youll barley be able to drive, starting is really difficult also,

dizzy module or fuel pump is my guess. but check the pump relay...aka inertia switch, make sure it's tight and clean

Personally, before I got too carried away I would put some Heat or Sea Foam in the tank to make sure I didn't somehow get water in there.
