Default Vacumn hose collapse

2003 v6

Pictured below (underneath collapse) is a hose that runs from fenderwell where ac dryer is to right behing throttle body on the intake. When i give gas it collaspes
. Qustions ...

1. Is that normal? I doubt but ???.
2. Is the hose weak ..it looks like way ancient. It may collapsea any vacumm
Or 3

Something is screwy

That hose is toast. Replace it with Braided AN15 or AN10 stainless hose,
whichever fits. You won't need the heavy duty stuff. You can get the cheap
stuff on eBay. I used it for my Catch Can:
