So i bought a 2002 convertacle mustang and it bogs any time i punch the gas any ideas as to whats wrong

 

Best guess is fuel pump. Look up ChrisFix fuel pump and he can help you diagnose it if you're looking to fix it yourself. If it isnt that probably a MAF sensor or injector problem. Grab a scan tool.

 

It would help the forum if you expanded on the description of the issue. Does the car misfire? Does it lurch (meaning engine power drops and then surges)? Many problems arise from the most simple reasons. Have you checked the condition of the plugs and wires? I had a loss of power issue with my 2001 V6 that was the coil. Idle and light acceleration were fine but the spark could not keep up with heavy throttle. Good luck and stay safe out there.
