Remove Bushing Sleeve
Hi All,
I'm upgrading the rearend in my '04 V6 to 3:73 gears. I had to cut the bushing bolts in the rear lower control arm to get the rear end out. I've got a new set of control arm bushings and I've removed the old rubber bushing. The bushing sleeve is still in the control arm (undamaged). Do I need to replace the sleeve or can I keep it and push the new rubber bushing in? Yes, I know that best action is to remove the old sleeve but due to Covid I can rent any tools to remove the sleeve. So before I start hacking away at it, do I really need to remove it? Thanks for any advice.
