Default RE: MAF

gah, we need more stickies booze........
but anyways yea we have an older post somewhere about cleaning ur maf, im not at my home computer or i could give u the link that has pictures to doing it...im sure someone(not on dialup like me!) could research real quicka nd find it but anywyas allu do is take the air intake hose thing off the housing and unclip the housing off the air filter housing lol...and just use a screwdriver or ur fingers to unclip the outside of this housing off and it should open up where u can get a torq bit screwdriver and unscrew 2 screws off the metal part and pull it off and it should have 2 little Delicate wires that should look real clean and polished almost...but just get a Q-tip and some rubbing alcohol and pour it on or rub it on those 2 wires real delicately or they will break and ull have to replace the whole thing...and that should do it...more than likely they will be clean tho....
this may be confusing but its cuz i took too many pain pills becuz i had surgery on my shoulder last week so im a little out of it...lemme know if this helps, someone can look up the link on that other MAF post to help him out more...it helped me personally bout 2 months ago...
