Default sound system

I have been wanting to upgrade my sound system for a while now, but i wanted to try and avoid getting all the parts (amp, speakers, subs) separately because i don't know a whole lot about that kind of stuff. Is it still possible to get the Mach 460 system after market? or is their any other whole system that i can get?

hey, so, i agree with frankielax, get the exhaust and listen to that, but in my mustang ive got a kick *** sound system that blows ppl away in my town (population 1400.....) but nevertheless, if u want a nice sound sytem i dont think there is an aftermarket Mach sound system, what type of system do u want? if u want a system that domes, your gonna want to get either two (2) JL audio 12 W2's or 12W3's (subs) or JL audio 10W2's or JL audio 10W3's and all u need to push those is a JL audio 500/1 amp, what i have in my car is:

2 JL audio 12W3's
JL audio 500/1 Amp
Tweeters in the front
6 inch speakers in the front and in the back and i tell you what, damn, it kicks ***, the sound is clean and loud and u can have the bass if u want it but i listen to a lot of rock so i can hear the guitars and drums and have the dome effect of the bass...

Tell me how much money u want to spend and ill help u out with getting the biggest bang for your buck.

Ha, i definitely plan on gettin the exhaust so thats not an issue. I guess in the way of money, probably not much more than 300 or so. The factory system isn't that bad, i just wanna help it out a little bit.

300 hundred dollars isn't going to get you much in the way of a sound system if you want to do the whole thing. for that much you could do one part of it. like subs, or some after market speakers. if you are looking for high quality speakers, not bass, look at the polk momo's. they are really nice

yah, those are really nice, i personally swear by JL audio because of the long *** warranty they have on them, ive used it and it is great, if you pop a speaker or damage one, then its replaced free of charge, i would get this:

this is the speakers i would get (dont put them here) thats what i personally run in my car front seat and back seat, they have such a clean and crisp sound that i love em.

But this is the link and the name of what you would want, they are SO awesome! (i personally like base so they are awesome with 2 12's)
