how old is the stuff? The longer it's been on there, the harder it will be to remove. You can do a heat gun if it's really old or a hair dryer if it's newer. Just take your time with it. If you can, find some PLASTIC razor blades, I used those once to take off some really old pinstriping and it works awesome with a heatgun!

There is some kind of decal remover made for cars that will take it right off. I used it on an old S-10 I used to have. I can't recall the name, or if they still make it as this was 9 years ago. But if you can find it it works great. I used it to take the pinstripe off my S-10. Let it sit on for about 30 min then it peeled right off.....Best I can tell ya....Good luck.

thanks guys. it took me 20 minutes to do the 6 inch stuff on the front fender without anything, and took me 30 minutes to do the rest of the car with a hair dryer.

yeah it looks good. i have to do some wet sanding though, cause on the passenger side ride before the rear wheel it was paing, and there is somewhat of a paint stripe. rather than that the driver side looks good.

Is the paint of a slightly different tint in that one spot? That's normal since the paint underneath the sticker was never exposed to the sun directly. Wet sanding won't do any good. A UV light might fix that a bit. Also, any glue left behind, I would use a clay bar to remove it.

no it was repainted, and someone painted up to the stripe, so now there is a like where the old paint meets the new, so i am going to wet sand it so it is even.

Ooohh, okay. If you're wet sanding be sure to use a VERY fine grit like 2000 or even 2500, then a rubbing compound, then polishing compound.

Edit, and there's no such thing as too much water.
