i dont know much about that version of the mustang but i would expect that if you install the factory turbo on there that would give you some more go.. or look for a turbo kit for your car seeing as how a version of it did have a turbo then there should be some kits.. how many miles are on the car... you might also want to start off with a engine rebuild with forged internals to make it ready for a bigger amount of psi from a aftermarket turbo

thanks...um its got somewhere around 125,9XX not sure exactly off the top of my head, but it actualy runs really well. any idea where to look for the turbo?? and how much does it cost?? i dont think i want to do all of that to the engine right now id rather just make the car so i can pass another car when i need to. also does anybody have any idea about what kind of gains in terms of HP or Torque that turbo puts out??

alright dude the mustang svo was the 2.3l that was turbo. so was the turbo thunderbird and merker xr4ti only the mustangs from 85 to 86 where intercooled and had about 200hp and the blocks to those where stronger than the one u have now. my buddy dave (room mate) suggests that if u really plan on keeping with a 2.3 then get the actual svo motor or get it from one of the above cars for which they are all the same except the svo had the most tuned power rating. even if u dont get the intercooled version the motor put out about 175ish hp.. hope this info comes to u with good use.. any other questions just post em up dude
