Default Will Tires Rub?

Hello, I am putting 18"x9" wheels on my 2004 (Stock) Mustang convertible. The the front tires stick out flush with the outer fender edge. Will they hit or rub on the fender if I go over a large bump? There appears to be plenty of room between the top of the tire and the fender lip. This car has NOT been lowered. Thanks for the help. DRIVE-ON Tire size is 275/40/18

You'll be fine, they won't rub

There are lots of people on here with 18s that are lowered with no probs.

Thanks. I can rest easy now. It also looks like I can lower 1 1/2" with no problems.
