Hey guys and gals I've been go for a while because of spyware and adware. Now that i'm back i want to say hi and ask a few questions. I am thinking of getting my car tuned at a well trusted shop in houston. I was wondering what gains can i get and what octane will i be running for now on? I'm running techron plus, my mods are in my sig.

 

definately premium...but are they going to tune your car completely custom as in use a dyno...or just give you a pre-made tune?

 

The highest you can buy, but in general, that tends to be either 91 or 93 octane, but a few areas sell 95.

 

You will have to run premium (91-93 octane) with a performance tune. I am guessing an increase of 10-12 HP would be reasonable.

 

theres a place in New hampsire near where my aunt lives that sells racing fuel for $5 a gallon or something like that

usually there is 87, 89, and 93

add some U.D pullies with the tune to and you should get an extra 15 HP

Yeah it's completely custom. They strap her to the dyno and play. It's going to be interesting to see my new numbers.
