Sniper makes a downloadable software for your laptop, but I don't know that much about it.

Yep that's it, but its not for sale yet so you'll have to wait, but the kit with the CD and the cables is the kit you're looking at, I know you probably figured that out, but I had to make at least 1 ***** post today.

Can't help ya there, but I do know they are the only consumer laptop system availible. Racers do have other software systems, but trying to get your hands on one of those is tough.

There is a program setup you can get from SCT (superchips custom tuning), This allows you full control over your ecu. It is called the pro racer package,
It is the same program all the dealers use but u only get one ECU code for your car unlike us, we have access to about 9000 ecu programs that ford has designed. Here is a link for the package. They sell for around $799-$899.

This package is setup for someone who will do alot of changes and wants to get the most out of your vehicle with out sending stuff to your dealer or getting programs emailed to you.

Also if you wanted the SCT Xcalibrator II you also have a ton of adjustments for your vehicle setup on the flash unit. That is if you do not want to get to heavy into the tuning.
Check with you local dealer or if there is not one look on the home page to locate one.
