Default Motor Oil

Hi i have recently purchased a 99 mustang LX, equipped with a 3.8 and a 5 speed, which would be the best oil to use. A technical at pep boys recomended a full synthnetic, however i have spoken with others and they disagree with his recomendation. I thought 5w30 would be fine. Comment back with any helpful opinons or expirence.

5-w30 or 10-w30. either way. Your's doesn't require the 5-w20 like the newer ones do. But I highly recommend Mobile1 or a similar synthetic.
And as a mechanic, I used to NEVER recommend synthetics. Now I do. I have seen the light! They ARE better. MUCH better.

always use synthetics..like mobil 1 or if you can, royal purple syn oil is awesome....make ur car run much smoother and can help ur engine last a lot longer. i think im at 140,000 miles with syn mobil 1 5w-30 and mine still runs like the day i got it. hopin to get another 100K+ out of it before i cash in for a GT.
