Im installin the mac cai right now how the heck do u fit the hose onto the silver part stickin out the Metal part it just wont fit?? Or am i not trying hard enough?

 

Try putting some silicon lube, or lithium grease on the rubber of the filter. Should slip right on with a little effort.

Ok..put the lithium grease around the metal piece, and shove it in there. It's like a lady..gotta lube her before stickin it in there!

Oh yeah, BTW when I installed my CAI, the whole lube thing didnt work for me, it just took a whole lotta good old fashioned pushin' and pullin'

EDIT- And a spoon!! Kinda like a shoehorn... if you catch my drift. My dad came out there and saw the spoon sitting on the fender and was like WTF?? He was totally making fun of me... lol
