Short throw shifter
ORIGINAL: gt96stang
What?? www.mgwltd.com the MGW is the best shifter out there and costs as much as the others...$179
stangshifters.com has both pro-50 and tri-ax at $169, $179...
I've converted over two cobra buddies of mine from tri-ax shifters after driving my car... svtperf. has a long thread about MGW.. Now think, if it's that good cobra's are talking that much about it.. it'll be great for you..

To put it simply, the Tri Ax and Pro 50 have the same short shift ratio, so it's stritcly a matter of which one you want. I have the Steeda, others have the Pro, but the MGW, from what I've heard, is far better, and it's fully adjustable, it just all comes down to rather or not you want to pay the price for it.

Well as far as feel goes, some people like the shortness of the Pro 5.0, which is only 5% more or so shorter than the steeda, however nearly everybody loves the feel and location of the Steeda shifter ****. A lot of people in the 5.0 forum consider the Pro 5.0 shifter base with the steeda upper handle to be one of the best set ups (aside from MGW).
