Hello, I'm in the planing phase of tinting my tail lights. I need some help how ever, if you can anwser these questions please do it will be apprechated!
What % tints should I use? I don't want a complete black out just kinda fogged type of look.
What tools are needed to tint tail lights? I have no clue about this one I'm guessing sissors
Where can I buy tints, do they even sell them in stores if so what store ? I really never even seen tints in a store before
How difficult is this whole project and how much time do you think it will take me?
any more basic things I may need to know to help me out would be great!

 

i would buy precut stuff. because it its made for taillights and its not window tint like you can get in stoors. if you do find some stuff in a store i would use a razor blade. you will probably want a squeege of some kind to get the air bubbles out of it when you put it on. id get 50% if you dont want it too be too dark

 

Where would I find precut tints for my car? and wouldn't that be harder because you need to get it on there perfect, and wouldn't you still need a squeege ? also would it be easier if i took the lights out and did it ? One last thing does the tints peel off after awhile from rain and stuff or does it last pretty long?

ive tried buying a roll of tint and tryin it....its next to impossible...just get the precut kits thats what im fixing to do
