If you can I say go for it. I'd love a GT, but I know there is no way in hell I can sell my 6 for enough to get one. They all cost around 15k last time I checked around here [:@]. But anyway, if you do get one, do yourself a favor and get a manual. No sense in getting a sports car with an auto transmission. Unless you planning on building a drag car or something crazy like that. Good luck.

i just turned 18 and got a Z28, its got alot of pick up and sound amazing with 3 inch pipes and no cat. Id say go for the GT, V8s are just fun to drive and dont cost any more than a V6 really.. If you just have liability insurance then your rate will stay the same because liability is usually the same if you stay within the same group of drivers (dont go getting aPorscheor Lambo and your price wont increase in other words) and gas isnt that bad if u drive sanely lol. Ive got some good mileage so far and my car is runnin on very nasty looking oil and it should improve afteri get itserviced 2morrow. And did i mention V8s are just more fun to drive? lol
