I've pegged mine at 120
I've also had my 05 GT mustang at 145mph for about 3 miles

Ryan you aint the only smart one. I pegged mine at the factory 116 setting with a full safety crew and retaining wall

Heck yeah, even after going over the car, then having it pass a tech inspection at the track, I've had parts fail on me. I've been lucky so far and nothing has been too bad. But crap, loosing full tire pressure at 55 can kill you, let alone major failure at 100+.

I had my right rear axle snap only going 35 around a 110 degree off camber left turn. I immediately stopped "driving" the car and went for a ride. I could only imagine a major failure or worse hitting an animal at full song.

mine was on a stretch of the mass turn pike at about ~6 a.m (sun was up) i really couldnt care if i wrecked by my self but it was on a flat straight 2 mile or so area so i could make sure no one else would be in harms way
