145 on closed road with safty crew in 4th gear but started to have belt slip so had to back off. Another guy totaled his cobra at like 140 by driving on street roads. he walked away luckily.

I got 115 and its funny how it stops and wont go up because of 4.10s. But i dont think it was 115 really because the gears made the speedometer show the different speed!
i have an 04 and i hit the limiter at 120 and thats a correct speedo and gpstelling me and it was on a highway at 530 in the morning and it was awesome and perfectly safe
on a highway at any time is not perfectly safe. You could have hit a animal, debris, sand, or anthing else that you didnt think to check for before opening it up. Racetracks arent even perfectly safe thats why they have rollcages and safety crews. Things happen.
