I thought about my earlier post here and have reconsidered it as stupid to encourage top speed runs. Sorry for being out of line.

I've been to 130 so quick(even though mine is a v-8), I encourage it, and the car has touched 150-get a v-8 and shut up cause they haul ***. Everyone- please try the flying mile and leave folks like Ryan talkng on their porch cause they got nothing and enjoy it yet be careful!

Ryan does it on a track and his car is made for it.

You guys don't think tire failure could happen even on the track with a safety crew? As if "Like component failure and eminent death" can only happen on the street....

That out of the way, what could the early 94-98 (split port right?) stock sixxers top out at?

BTW, runninmike do not turn this into another 6 vs 8 debate.

94-98 were single port... and i believe they topped at ~112 or something

you sure did touch a lot of keys just to make sure we were certain that you are a total retarded a$$.

I'm no professional, but I have obtained high speed and open lapping licenses from sactioning bodies such as SCCA and NASA, I also OWN A GT. When you say "Flying Mile" do you really mean "Standing Mile" or or the "Texas Mile" or did you just get the name wrong because you've never done it? Maybe you're refering to one of the events at bonneville that hasn't been run since the 80's.

I don't see why you're so upset about the whole thing, bringing your personal issues to the forums is never a good idea. Your girlfriend doesn't give me head because my car's faster, she does it cuz my di(k's bigger.

Now GTFO and go hide in your HUGE SIG OT S197 TECH SECTION with all the other tards.

No, at that point is considered a "Calculated Risk" Regular roads are just not meant for those speeds, race courses are. The rescue personnel are also one the scene prior to anything happening. Tire failure would be the least of my concerns, I've seen cars shear balljoints, drop driveshafts, snap axle shafts, hoods fly up, all kinds of things.

It could happen on the track. Thats the reason for the crew. Doing it on the street endangers not only yourself but others also. If you have planned and paid for track use then you should already understand that bad stuff can happen to you and your rig, thats why you're at the track.

110mph and held on 795, a baltimore bypass opposit traffic divided by a median and a jersey wall at 3:30 in the afternoon. wanted to see if i could make it from my house to the mall in 2 min. (i did) there was like maby one or two cars (behind me).

live fast die faster and take nobody with you. if my mustang flipped rolled or did w.e mustangs do when the break at 110 mph at least i would die happy.
