how much are tunes?

this douche in my town has a s/c cobalt... it's fast as hell. he always has to gun it whenever he sees me or we are next to each other at a stop light.
yea i was gonna say, the cobalt guys kinda have a bad rep. they are kinda like a lot of the ricers you see around, just with a little bit nicer cars

there is no such thing.

neither one is anything to write home about, but the turbo ones are quicker.

Yes the turbo ones are quicker. But for 10k for an ss/sc I could put 5k in mods in it it'd cost less than your termi and guess what?..I'd beat you.

I won't be ricing it out guys don't worry. Probably a pulley swap, injectors, dynotune, cai. The exhaust sounds good stock, I don't want to change it, but I don't want it to be a bottleneck either.

ive seen some decently modded ones that were quick, a stock SC one will only run high 14s/low 15s. i ran one a couple weeks ago in my psd, caught a light guy nailed it taking off, pulled half a length, then i nailed it and pulled one length on him, by 80 he had it cut down to about half a length, i had a full 34 gallons of fuel in the truck and my tool box

and when the car was bone stock i blew up the original open diff, then i had it rebuilt with the tlok, which i blew up with exhaust/intake/tune

Theres a guy roaming around here with a S/C Cobalt and I laugh everytime I see it. 20" rims, 20" decals on the front fenders, chrome wipers, tires that are stretched to fit the rims(like 225 tires on 9" rims). Apparently it is pullied and tuned tho.

It is time to praise the 2011Mustang V6:
First tank of gas in mostly highway driving = 25.5 MPG
Tank # 2 = 31.4 MPG
tank # 3 32.1 MPG
By the way my 2006 V6 got about 400 miles per tank; this one get 480 miles per fill up. It is as if the two Stangs were made by two different companies. The high mileage is due to the car and my keeping the speed below 65MPH most of the time.
