My car is finally in the garage. Cheering... no to insulate the garage so I can start tearing the engine apart.

Just ordered a purge flow sensor. Still getting that damn P1443 code. Also getting a dealer specific code apparently, and I sure as hell don't want to pay $70 to get that done.

Bought the passenger mirror as well. Outside will be looking good.

What does it mean if my car is creaking when the wheel turns? Coming only from the driver's side front left afaik. Also creaks when car is bounced up and down (ie getting in+out for example).

'Tis what I figured, though I don't know much about cars. If it is only that, how much do you think it would be to replace (by a shop)? Also, will they check that out free?

Go out to your car, push down hard over the shock that you think is out, the car should rebound and stay in place, if it keeps bouncing a work shock is a likely culprit. You can replace it yourself with nothing more than simple tools, a little time consuming but a good learning diy job, read the stick on lowering and you'll see its not difficult. A single replacement shock can be had for I assume $40-60 but you can do them all for around $300 if you want to upgrade while your at it.

It doesn't bounce, just does the one normal (afaik, I'll check it again tomorrow). I'm hoping it isn't the strut as I've read up on (a bit), seems to be costly.

Don't know what you mean by that, we have struts up front and shocks out back, either way they cost about the same and are easy to replace at home.
