hell my car hasnt moved in like 3 months. too lazy and broke to try and fix what is wrong, or to even know what is wrong. Theres a terrible noise coming from the steering, but i think its specifically coming from the rack (it shifted going down the road because apparently i didnt tighten MMs aluminum rack bushings enough) I dont know if that would break something inside or not. im going to raise the front today i think (its 1" lower than the rear) and see if the noise goes away. maybe it because there is more weight on the front wheels, who knows.

 

oh and i shot PS fluid about 20 ft yesterday, pretty cool. i had just filled the reservoir a little bit ago and the front has been jacked up, so maybe with the angle it was too full and i turned the wheel without turning the car on. who knew?

changed the abs sensor my dad torched yesterday but abs light is still on. going to check the other side today maybe? i really should stop slacking today already

 

oh and i just ordered a transmission filter and fuel filter, trying to get the car ready for winter with a pre-winter tune up. i have the oil and filter just sitting there but havent gotten around to changing it.

update on the abs sensor, turns out it was the passenger side, stupid cars. the drivers side was all melted and the passenger side looked perfect. plugged the one from the drivers side into the passenger side and the abs light goes out. oh well, at least ill have two brand new abs sensors.....

 

So i just got a new to me 01 V6 and want to mod it a little bit. Not too much since it is a daily driver and I don't want to have my MPG go through the basement. I'm new to Mustangs in general and not really sure where to start. The car has a little less than 77k miles on it and everything except the stereo is stock. I've only replaced the head unit so far but in the very near future I plan to add an amp and a 12" sub to the setup. Besides that I know I want to tint the windows, replace the lights all the way around and maybe add a front chin spoiler on the front bumper. Any help figuring out where to start on this thing would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

 

search around here, see what others have done/did, check the stickies, and decide from there what direction you want to go with the car. Welcome to the forum

 

Still no SLowPig. Had to ditch the 4.2 for right now and ordered a new crate 3.8 . Sooooo how much boost can the 3.8 handle? 7-8lbs? I still want to throw the M90 on there sense Ive spent so much money on it already.

I've been gone for almost 2 weeks, head back wednesday night. Don't know what I'm gonna do to the car. Maybe buy a heat gun and take a stab at the sound deadening removal.

I need to stop at the shop and get a quote for tuning before the snow falls.

 

With a big enough intercooler, a bit more. I've heard of 12psi. It's all in the tune. I'd start 7-8 and go up from there.
