So I got around to taking a pic of the new seats we got last week for Aprils 68'

These are from a 2012 GT manual that was cut in half because of something as dumb as fibers in the paint. It was a beautiful black car that some smuck didnt want to pay for anymore, had less than 2000 miles before our local LKQ got ahold of it from Ford.


Anyways, I am picking up the console and a few other parts from it too. Anyone else need anything from it? They have the entire engine and trans package for $9k.

 

what are some of the better reprod 99/01 bumpers on ebay? kinda hesitant if you say they are ~$550 and some on ebay are going for ~$280ish

edit: never mind there termi bumpers, lack of sleep this week

 

I compression tested it and it seems that my motor interfered, tearing it down again this weekend though

I was told it was a NON interference by a friend that works at ford, but he wasn't 100% positive. Also not sure that my Cam and decked heads helped anything either...

 

extra lift and less combustion chamber depth could equal PTV issues.



Trading my 06 F150 FX4 for a 09 Mini Cooper in a couple weeks. Got to fix the PS exhaust manifold/gasket problem and do an interior/exterior detail. The Cooper is a 6 speed, leather and only 78,000km(80,000 bumper to bumper warranty). Ill be paying about 7K on top of the truck but Id rather have a loan of 7K for 7 years over 11K over 2.5 years. MPG will be a BIG bonus.
