Damn, glad to see that your ok but sheesh that sucks.

What is insurance saying about it? I hope they dont nail ya as the cause of the accident.
I hate how insurance companies work, the people that cant drive get rewared with new cars and those that can and avoid their dumb asses get slammed with higher rates.

it seems that people have been driving like idiots around me also, it must be the weather being consistently warmer.... was going 50 in a 50 on the highway one day, someone in a mazda 6 flies from the fast lane into the slow lane to pass a car in the fast lane and came so close to me that my neon shook a little bit from air the car was pushing off and them being so close. They had to be doing 80-90 in that 50....

315's will fit fine but its good insurance to roll your fenders. Not all tires are made equal and where some guys have no rub at all, others will.

There are a couple people around a few forums that rent their eastwood rollers out or you can just buy one, they are cheap enough.

Nittos are supposed to run narrow but are they going to hurt performance at all, while they look good If 275s all the way around would be better I would rather do that

Of course a larger tire is going to reduce performance.
The added weight and increased friction from the contact patch sucks power.
The added weight also hurst your suspension performance with added unsprung weight.

Use the narrowest & lightest tire you can that will allow you the traction you need.
Also factor in if your buying a summer perf tire, what kind of tread wear your looking for and cornering performance.

If you are going for a compromise between looks and functionality then yes, a 275 would look good and not harm performance as much as the 315.

I need new tires but IMO I don't like the cobras on my car right now I want bullits looking for some 01-04 stockers but may just end up ordering them from am.com

17x8 or 17x9? Also think I'm going with BFG KDW
